Job Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Compliance: Complete pre-employment checks and onboarding steps to ensure candidates start work compliantly and professionally.
  • Workforce Coordination: Monitor attendance, track absences, and arrange backfills or shift cover as required.
  • Data Tracking: Maintain accurate staff and holiday trackers, ensuring information is up to date and reliable.
  • Systems Use & Data Management: Learn and use internal systems to record candidate details, timesheets, holiday bookings, and clock-in/clock-out data.
  • Payroll Support & Reporting: Provide accurate information for payroll processing and assist with headcount and operational reporting.
  • Issue Handling: Respond to day-to-day queries from temporary workers and site managers, including pay queries, absence management, and general support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with candidates, account managers, and clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving with the initiative to resolve issues quickly and appropriately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel and Outlook) and confident email communication.
  • Comfort working with internal systems for record-keeping, timesheets, and compliance documentation.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as occasional travel between local sites may be required.
  • Flexibility with working hours to support onsite operations, which may run early mornings through to late evenings.
