We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join a busy and well-established distribution team based in Plymouth.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable driver looking for ongoing, stable work with early starts and consistent hours.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for delivering carpets and flooring products to both residential and commercial customers across the region.
The role involves manual handling, so a good level of physical fitness is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Delivering carpets and flooring materials to customer sites
- Loading and unloading goods as required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
- Completing relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
- Providing a professional and courteous service to customers
Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous experience in multi-drop or delivery driving preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
- Good communication and timekeeping skills
- Reliable and safety-conscious approach to work
