An opportunity has arisen for an NDT Level 2 or Level 3 Instructor / Examiner / Engineer to join a specialist training and inspection team based in the Bristol area. This is a varied role combining technical instruction, examination and hands‑on NDT inspection, supporting candidates through approved training programmes while also delivering inspection services for customers when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high‑quality NDT training courses to internal and external candidates
- Invigilating, examining and marking examinations in line with industry standards
- Supporting training administration, quality requirements and course preparation
- Undertaking NDT inspections across multiple methods at company and customer sites
- Maintaining training equipment, consumables and inspection documentation
What you’ll need:
- EN4179 Level 2 or Level 3 certification in one or more NDT methods (UT, PA, ET, PT, MT or RT)
- Evidence of instructional or teaching capability (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally
- A flexible, resilient mindset suited to a commercial training and inspection operation
