We have an immediate requirement for a FLT Reach Driver / General Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse operation in Solihull. This is an ongoing temporary assignment with the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks for the right candidate. Working within a fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while safely operating Reach trucks in a high-bay warehouse.
What the Work Involves:
- Operating FLT Reach trucks within warehouse racking up to 10 metres high
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Picking, relocating and replenishing stock throughout the warehouse
- Processing goods-in deliveries and stock movements
- Carrying out manual handling duties as required
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and warehouse safety
- Assisting with general warehouse operations and stock control activities
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management
Hours, Shifts & Pay:
- Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00pm to 5:00am (42.5 hours per week)
- Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
- Pay frequency: Weekly
- Holiday pay: Accrued and paid weekly
What We Need From You:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Valid externally accredited FLT Reach Truck licence essential
- Experience operating Reach trucks in a busy warehouse environment
- Comfortable working at height within racking up to 10 metres
- Willingness to carry out all aspects of general warehouse duties alongside FLT work
- Reliable, punctual and capable of performing physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
- Right to work in the UK - documentation will be required before start
