Manpower has an exciting opportunity for Plant Operatives to join our client in Falkirk with an immediate start. This is a temporary role offering long shifts, strong earning potential, and the chance to work within a busy, well-established manufacturing environment.
About the Role
As a Plant Operative, you will support daily production activities across the site, ensuring a safe, efficient and well-organised working environment. Working closely with Plant Supervisors, you will help control site operations, machinery and materials to maintain smooth output and high production standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating plant and production equipment safely
- Supporting manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, loading and material movement
- Monitoring machinery performance and reporting faults or irregularities
- Completing basic quality checks and recording production data
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards across work areas
- Following all site safety procedures, PPE requirements and compliance rules
- Assisting with stock control, waste management and general plant duties
- Working as part of a small team to meet daily production targets
- Adapting to nightshift every 3 weeks as part of the rotation
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a small or medium-scale manufacturing or production environment
- Strong awareness of health & safety and safe working practices
- Reliable, team-focused attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work in a physical, hands-on role
