Service Operations Support to ensure that the day-to-day administration of service operations is managed efficiently and effectively, including handling all customs documentation and queries, and meeting the needs of the field service team.

This exciting new role will include both administration and some physical inventory management.
What you'll be doing.
- Performing the reconciliation of the C79 certificate and Postponed VAT statement, ensuring the necessary documents are available (C88, commercial invoice) to evidence this
- Contacting delivery companies and customs brokers to obtain missing documentation and where necessary advise on amendments
- Follow-up on customs records to ensure correct "importer of record" and import VAT charged to correct party
- Find and correct import entries that are incorrectly allocated to Carl Zeiss Ltd
- Ensure Carl Zeiss Limited's import VAT is only for imports on behalf of Carl Zeiss Ltd
- Resolving day-to-day customs queries to the correct place
- Manage calibration (ZEISS and 3rd party), sending to and from calibrators, quotes/POs, recording inbound, allocating and sending to FSEs
- Manage FSE PPE/ consumables/ Tools/ Work wear/Engineer stickers/FSE address management
- Engineer returns - provide 24hr turnaround of UPS labels - adding parts to returns list
- Support Supply Chain and Logistics during busy periods
- Any other ad-hoc support for the team as required
- New Field Service Engineer Induction (service support processes)
- Generate monthly stock reports for engineers

- Able to work independently
- Have a Confident telephone manner
- Have SAP Enterprise Resource Planning \"ERP\" experience
- Customer focus, collaboration, ensuring accountability and results and effective communication are especially important in this role
