This is a key technical role focused primarily on compliance, supplier management, and raw materials expertise. You will play a central part in ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of our raw materials, supporting both customer expectations and internal standards. While predominantly office-based, you will develop strong relationships with both suppliers and internal teams, and you'll have opportunities for meaningful factory interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as deputy to the Raw Materials Manager, providing technical leadership and expertise.
- Own daily supplier engagement, including specification approval, performance monitoring, and routine communication.
- Lead and participate in weekly supplier meetings, KPI reviews, and raw material-related discussions.
- Conduct supplier visits to assess compliance, address issues, and support continuous improvement.
- Support NPD teams with raw material input, including sample reviews and approvals.
- Provide technical guidance on raw material issues, working cross-functionally to resolve challenges.
- Assist with inbound goods concerns and ensure that raw materials meet all technical and customer requirements.
- Work closely with factory teams as required, acting as the in-house expert for raw materials.
