This is a new full-time position at the company that will be reporting to the Product Director and Senior Product Developer. 1-3 years experience within sportswear or outdoor apparel. Available to work in our London office at least twice a week. Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Excel.
We are recruiting a Junior Product Developer to support the development, design, and delivery of our product range in order to elevate product quality, consistency, and speed to market.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:- Support the end-to-end product development process across all seasons and categories, ensuring alignment with our product briefs, quality standards, target margins, and seasonal timelines.
- Work closely with design to translate ideas into commercially viable products, leading and supporting on Tech Packs, BOMS, and Workbooks.
- Lead the development of our Accessories category.
- Lead the development of our Special Projects category.
- Assist in managing the development critical path, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure all key milestones are achieved.
- Create, maintain, and update all seasonal overviews.
- Support the research, development, and approval of all lab dips and strike offs.
- Support fit sessions and ensure feedback is actioned on time across all stages of prototyping.
- Support the preparation and tracking of samples from P1 to PPS.
- Assist with costings and margin tracking across the development process, working with suppliers to achieve target cost.
- Support the development, testing, and sourcing of fabric and trim.
- Maintain and update WIPs, tech packs, size specs, grading, and product data to ensure accuracy across all systems.
- Assist with product wear testing ensuring all products are appropriately tested and relevant feedback is actioned.
- Collaborate with the Production and Sourcing Co-Ordinator to ensure a smooth handover for bulk production.
- Contribute to seasonal range plan and design meetings, bringing creative ideas to the team.
- Conduct research and create mood boards for design inspirations.
- Maintain organisation of the development Google Drive and physical folders.
- Support product logistics and styling on photoshoots.
- Help the Product Director create and manage the wholesale product catalogue.
- Help the Product Team create their relevant department manuals and guidelines.
- Book fit models.
- Handle shipping and posting samples.
