If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our dedicated care team, as a Live in Carer for Manorcourt Homecare. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person‑centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
- Supporting the administration of medication
- Assisting with meal preparation
- Providing companionship and offering social interaction
- Carrying out light domestic tasks
- Ensuring confidentiality of clients' information
- Utilising full personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
- Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable; an opportunity to undertake this course will be available
- Access to your own transport is an advantage but not essential
- Ability to manage tasks with limited supervision and be a reliable team member for shift work
