If you are kind, compassionate and committed, we would love for you to join our dedicated care team, as a Live in Carer for Manorcourt Homecare. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person‑centred care to individuals in their own homes, helping them to maintain their health, wellbeing, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with personal care (hygiene, washing, dressing, etc.)
  • Supporting the administration of medication
  • Assisting with meal preparation
  • Providing companionship and offering social interaction
  • Carrying out light domestic tasks
  • Ensuring confidentiality of clients' information
  • Utilising full personal protective equipment (PPE) provided by the company

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months experience delivering personal care
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative
  • Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable; an opportunity to undertake this course will be available
  • Access to your own transport is an advantage but not essential
  • Ability to manage tasks with limited supervision and be a reliable team member for shift work
