How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload that is evenly split between medicine and surgery. If you would prefer a consult‑only role, we're happy to accommodate that too. You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Working Pattern
We pride ourselves on offering genuine flexibility to help you achieve a healthy work‑life balance. Whether you're looking for full‑time or part‑time hours, we'll work with you to create a rota that fits your lifestyle. A typical full‑time role is 40 hours across 4 days per week, with a shared Saturday morning rota of 1 in 4 and time off in lieu. There are no out‑of‑hours or on‑call commitments.
You Might Be a Great Fit If…
- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
