The Sign Maker will manage the production process of making and finishing signs ready for installation or delivery.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner and inform senior staff.
- Full preparation of vinyl graphics ready for installation.
- Installation of graphics to media and substrate.
- Laminate application to all necessary substrates.
- Vinyl / wrap application to vehicles.
- Maintain a clean safe working area(s).
- Operate the CNC and set up Aspire when necessary.
- Assist lead sign installer with 2 men install where necessary.
- Responsible for all fabrication work, including but not limited to external signage with or without rails, acrylic and ACM letters, prep and paint built up letters, signs and sign trays.
- Perform regular maintenance on sign making equipment to ensure optimal performance, reducing downtime and minimizing the risk of malfunctions.
- Monitor stock levels of supplies, alerting the management staff in a timely manner to avoid interruptions in production.
- Implement quality control measures throughout the sign making process, from initial design to the final product, ensuring that each print job meets or exceeds our quality standards.
- The capability to maintain performance standards in high stress situations.
- Utilize company software programs to manage workflow.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, demonstrating politeness, respect, and effective communication with colleagues.
