JOB PURPOSE
The role of the Parts Delivery Driver is to:
- Ensure parts are delivered promptly within the parts department delivery schedule.
Department/Business/Location: Parts
Reports to: Parts Operations Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check invoices to ensure the correct parts are listed.
- Load stock items ready for dispatch.
- Report all customer issues to the parts manager promptly.
- Ensure the security and check the quality of all parts.
- Plan delivery routes effectively using knowledge of the local area.
- Maintain the delivery van in a clean and roadworthy condition.
- Drive safely and courteously, ensuring the safety and security of people, vehicles, and property, and report any faults or hazards.
