Trainee Maths Teacher: The Gatwick School in Crawley

Your Role

Are you passionate about Maths and ready to inspire the next generation? The Gatwick School is seeking a Trainee Teacher of Maths on a fixed-term, full-time basis to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to train towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while gaining valuable classroom experience within an all-through school.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant subject essential.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential.

Skills

• Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice essential.
• Ability to analyse and evaluate pupil data in order to set aspirational and challenging targets for individuals essential.
• Ability to develop a classroom environment ethos and structure for managing behaviour which enables pupils to become independent and self-managing essential.
