What you’ll be doing: The Compliance Adviser plays a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on regulatory matters, ensuring that the organization operates within legal and compliance frameworks. This role involves advising management, implementing compliance strategies, and ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements relevant to the organisation's operations.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on DC pension technical issues, including master trust supervision, pension flexibilities, automatic enrolment, and taxation.
- Supporting with the completion of FCA/PRA/TPR regulatory returns and/or payment of regulatory levies, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately and within pre-determined timescales.
- Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters.
- Work closely with various departments, such as legal, finance, human resources, and operations, to integrate compliance into business processes.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory affairs teams to develop and update compliance policies and procedures.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience of DC trust-based occupational pension schemes and/or master trusts.
- Good technical knowledge of DC pensions, automatic enrolment, taxation, and pension flexibilities.
- Experience of working as part of a project team.
- Intermediate skill in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
