At Manor Primary School, we are looking for an experienced EYFS professional to join our team as Nursery Room Leader to lead our growing Nursery provision for 2-4 year olds.

Your opportunity: Manor Primary School has an exceptional opportunity for a Nursery Room Leader, to lead our welcoming team, in our fantastic Nursery that opened in September 2025. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Headteacher and other professionals as we continue to develop the newly refurbished Nursery classroom and outdoor areas.

We are looking for a talented and professional individual who shares our vision of high aspirations, achievement and a passion for learning. They will be prepared to work hard and respond positively to the challenges of day to day school life. They will be innovative and creative in their teaching and be a strong team player.

  • Experience of working in Nursery provision or EYFS with relevant EYFS Level 5/6 Qualification
  • Be dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated
  • Be able to develop positive relationships with young children
  • Be able to develop an understanding of the educational, welfare and social needs of the children whom we are supporting
  • Be able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
  • Be enthusiastic and committed to working as part of a team

  • A commitment to raise the achievement of all students of all abilities

The Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Pay Scale: GLF Specialist 1-4 £27,094 - £27,818
  • Working Pattern: Full-Time, 38 hours per week
  • Contract Type: Permanent, 43 weeks per year (term time plus 4 weeks)
