Overview
The post holder will support the practice operationally and form part of the management and operational team.
They will work closely with the Practice Manager and partners to deliver high quality care and excellent customer service to patients, and help to create and implement practice policies, protocols, and procedures that enhance efficient processes and communication across the practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide EMIS appointment book oversight and management.
- Support data extraction, verification and reporting requirements of Qo F, PMS contracts, locally contracted services and enhanced services.
- Monitor and address the needs of GP Appointment Data using Ardens, GPAD, Apex and other systems.
- Assist with management of the practice website.
- Continuously manage patient surveys and the PPG.
- Maintain and update the PCSE portal.
- Oversee and manage all workflow areas.
- Tackle complex IT issues, system upgrades and implementations, and provide staff training.
- Support the Practice Manager with HR duties, including recruitment, staff appraisals, performance management and training.
- Ensure all items logged to GP Team Net are kept up to date and addressed within required timescales (e. g., alerts, significant events, policies, premises).
- Address initial complaints and respond appropriately following investigation.
- Attend meetings and support the Operations Lead with reactive IT issues including laptops and smartcard management.
- Establish and update EMIS templates, protocols and searches.

Manor Practice provides primary care services to a patient population of 12,500 patients across two sites in Wallington.
The practice is growing rapidly and has recently merged with another practice.
It is supported by a dedicated team of salaried GPs, ANPs, nurses, HCAs, a clinical pharmacist, and an operational staff that includes managers, receptionists and administrators.
The practice is rated Good by the Care Quality Commission and is an active member of the Wallington Primary Care Network.
It offers extended access services and supports staff with local training and development opportunities.
