Manor Park Primary Academy are seeking to appoint an excellent Breakfast Club Assistant to help us in running a professional and caring service for our children. We are seeking enthusiastic and creative individuals to join our thriving extended school’s provision and enhance it. They should be committed to making the school experience engaging, enjoyable and meaningful for primary age children.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with children under the guidance of the Extended Services Lead, ensuring their safety at all times
- Engage with children in play and conversation
- Prepare breakfast for the children
- Set up activities for children to take part in
- Meet and greet parents and provide them with feedback on their child’s time at the club
- Work 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Term Time only (8:00‑9:00 am daily)
Qualifications
- Experience of working with young children
- Basic understanding of child development and learning
- Enthusiasm and dedication to caring and supporting pupil activities
- Knowledge and understanding of food hygiene
- A responsible and reliable person
- Confident in dealing with young people, maintaining discipline and motivation
- Able to relate well to pupils and adults
