We are looking for an ambitious and inspirational personwith a passion for making a difference and enabling children to succeed, totake on the role of leading English at our ‘good’ Infant and Nursery School. Therole involves a 3 day a week class-based responsibility, in a job-share with anexisting member of staff but time will be given for leading English across theschool.

The successful candidate will:

- Have a love of English, teaching children to read, write and beconfident orators

The successful candidate will need:
- A clear understanding of how young childrenlearn
- At least 3 years’ experience of working in PrimaryEducation
- The ability to work well with children,colleagues and other professionals
- A commitment to child development and equalopportunities
- An understanding of the law around keepingchildren safe (safeguarding)
- Excellent organisational and time managementskills
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience and a good sense of humour
