Salary: Up to £53,200 DOE

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Contract: Permanent (52 weeks) – flexibility around term‑time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances

Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Role

You will work collaboratively with the education team to deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neuro‑divergent or have SEMH needs. You will operate within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working and your professional bodies’ requirements, manage an occupational therapy caseload, support staff training and consultation, and contribute to a person‑centred, empowering approach that places pupils at the forefront of every decision.

Essential Criteria

• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
• Valid and up‑to‑date HCPC registration
• Registered member of RCOT
• Relevant experience providing OT services within a similar setting preferred
• Experience working with neuro‑divergent learners, learning difficulties, and/or socio‑emotional and mental health difficulties; evidence of transferable skills required
• Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence
• Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
• Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently
• Clear and concise report‑writing skills
• Full UK driving licence with access to a car
• Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI practitioner training in progress or completed preferred but not essential)
