We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our group of hotels, namely the Manor Hotel and Windmill Village Hotel, where you will be required to work over both sites.

You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Greet and welcome every guest as first point of contact in a professional and responsible manner.
- Ensure all guests are welcomed and checked into the hotels computer system, ensuring correct accommodation is allocated to the guests.
- Ensure guests departing from the hotel are checked out and feedback is acted upon accordingly.
- Assist and be courteous to guests, displaying good customer care, hospitality and social skills at all times.
- Carry out advanced reservations; accept deposits and issue confirmations and receipts. Deal with ‘Walk-In’s’ bookings and cancellations.
- Liaise effectively between departments and management regarding VIP arrivals, groups and functions using the necessary procedures.
- Ensure general correspondence and record keeping is undertaken whilst on shift where necessary, monitoring scanning and updating guest profiles.
- Assists General Guest’s enquiries face to face and on the telephone, transfer incoming calls as and when required.
- Liaise with reservations, for the transfer and acceptance of all bookings.
Check that room allocations and up-grades are conducted competently, with particular regard to corporate and regular guests, special customer requests, VIP visitors, etc.
- Ensure that all guest arrival and departure administrative functions are carried out correctly, especially the continual maintenance of guest rooming lists, for use during any evacuation emergency.
- Carry out close-of-business administration, reports and balancing. Process hand-over procedures.
- Build and have a full knowledge and promote hotel's facilities, services and company products.
