- What We Are Looking For
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or a related field.
- Have experience working with primary-aged children.
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
- Can confidently lead and organise activities for groups of children.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Are caring, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
- Demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Share our school values of Kindness, Respect, Collaboration, Creativity, Resilience and Exploration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's wraparound care provision.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's social, emotional and physical development.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel happy and secure.
- Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's Behaviour Policy.
- Supervise and support children during play, snack times and daily routines.
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
- Work closely with parents, carers and school staff to support children's wellbeing.
- Maintain registers and relevant records as required.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
