  • What We Are Looking For
  • Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, Early Years or a related field.
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children.
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
  • Can confidently lead and organise activities for groups of children.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Are caring, enthusiastic and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
  • Demonstrate a positive, team-focused attitude.
  • Share our school values of Kindness, Respect, Collaboration, Creativity, Resilience and Exploration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's wraparound care provision.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's social, emotional and physical development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children feel happy and secure.
  • Promote positive behaviour in line with the school's Behaviour Policy.
  • Supervise and support children during play, snack times and daily routines.
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
  • Work closely with parents, carers and school staff to support children's wellbeing.
  • Maintain registers and relevant records as required.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school.
