What We Are Looking For
We would love to hear from candidates who
- Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years.
- Have experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Have a secure understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
- Value child-led learning and understand the importance of learning through play.
- Are committed to building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for helping children thrive.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences that engage and inspire young children.
- Foster children's curiosity, independence and confidence through purposeful play and exploration.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress to support their next steps in learning.
- Work closely with teachers and colleagues to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
- Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding, health and safety at all times.
- Support the development of communication, language and early reading skills.
- Build positive partnerships with parents and carers to support children's learning and development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold the values and ethos of Manor Hill First School.
- Engage positively with professional development opportunities and school improvement priorities.
