Manor Grange Care Home is a purpose built 83 bed care home located in the Pinkhill area of Edinburgh, providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia, Respite and Palliative care. The home offers a well established and supportive environment where team members can deliver high quality, person centred care as part of a professional and dedicated team.

As Maintenance Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the home remains safe, well maintained and comfortable at all times. This is a hands on and varied role where your practical skills and attention to detail will have a direct impact on the environment and daily experience.

You will carry out a wide range of maintenance tasks across the building and grounds, including repairs, basic electrical checks, installations and general upkeep. You will ensure equipment and systems are working safely and efficiently, responding promptly to issues and supporting planned maintenance.

Working independently and alongside the wider team, you will follow health and safety procedures, support compliance checks and help maintain a well organised, safe and welcoming environment.

What We Are Looking For
  • Previous experience in maintenance, facilities or a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of general repairs, electrical and building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Understanding of health and safety procedures
  • A proactive and practical approach
  • Reliable, organised and able to problem solve
