We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Staff to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in various care settings. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in patient care, with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, and specialised care for conditions such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Our Care Staff play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with daily activities such as meal preparation and feeding.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to ensure a safe environment.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individual care plans.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, or senior care is advantageous.
- A background in caregiving or home care is beneficial for this role.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is preferred.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
