We’re looking for a Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing Manager to lead supply chain due diligence, sustainability and human rights compliance across our growers and copackers. You’ll make an impact on strengthening governance and driving improvement across carbon, food waste and environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supplier due diligence and approval to meet customer and internal standards.
- Plan and deliver supplier and accommodation audits; drive corrective action closure.
- Lead Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD) risk/hotspot analysis and mitigation actions.
- Support SMETA and manage BRC supply chain due diligence to maintain compliance.
- Own sustainability reporting and data (incl. Scope 1–3), WRAP food waste roadmap, and customer platforms (e.g., SEDEX/SECARO).
Requirements
- Strong understanding of food supply chains, farming systems and supplier assurance.
- Experience in sustainability, environmental compliance or human rights within fresh produce/FMCG.
- Knowledge of SMETA/SEDEX, BRC and HRDD requirements.
- Strong analytical and data skills (Excel/reporting systems; sustainability metrics).
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused; able to manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with carbon accounting (Scope 1, 2, 3) and ESG reporting frameworks.
- Knowledge of WRAP programmes, food waste reduction, or environmental management systems.
- Formal qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Agriculture, or related discipline.
