At Manor Fresh Ltd, people are at the heart of our business and we believe in the importance of everyone's contribution to our success. With that in mind, we are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our small HR team. As an HR Advisor, you will work closely with the Head of People and play a crucial role in supporting the operational side of the business through effective employee relations management. This is a varied, hands-on role giving you the opportunity to make a real difference across the full employee lifecycle in a fast-paced production environment. This is also a great opportunity to shape the role around your strengths and take real ownership of key areas of the HR function as it develops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Relations: including managing employee relation cases such as capability, disciplinary and grievances.
  • Absence Management: own the day-to-day management of sickness absence, including absence trigger. Provide advise to managers on reasonable adjustments and best practice.
  • Training: coordinate and deliver internal training, maintain accurate training records and compliance tracking, arrange booking of required training.
  • Recruitment and On-boarding: manage the on-boarding process end-to-end, including right-to-work checks and induction scheduling.
  • Wellbeing: design and delivery of wellbeing initiatives across the site, a key point of contact for wellbeing signposting and support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
  • Confident communicator, able to build credibility with managers at all levels.
  • CIPD qualified or relevant experience.
  • Experience within a fast-paced operational, manufacturing, or food production environment.
