A vacancy has arisen for a Teaching Assistant to join Manor Drive Primary Academy, a new school that is part of the Four Cs Multi-Academy Trust. The successful candidate will be someone with high levels of motivation; a commitment and enthusiasm to children’s learning; an ability to inspire and motivate our future generations; and promote a culture that challenges children to reach the highest levels of social and academic achievement.

Manor Drive Primary Academy opened in September 2022. The school initially opened to a Reception cohort and will grow to full capacity over the next 6 years. This is an exciting time to join a new project as we work hard to provide an excellent level of education for our pupils and to create a positive school community to serve the Manor Drive area.

The Academy is supported by the MAT with all schools involved sharing a common interest in improving the standards of education for children in Peterborough. The Trust’s vision is to ensure that every child succeeds; build on what learners already know; make learning vivid and real; make learning an enjoyable experience and enrich students' learning experience.

The role will be fast paced, varied and child centred. The successful candidate will support teaching staff to deliver excellent learning opportunities and to meet children’s needs. They will also, on occasion, work in our nursery provision. Knowledge of Early Years and National Curriculum is desirable and experience in delivering first aid, personal care, individualised support programmes and classroom management is important.

Although small, we offer a friendly and supportive school environment, a positive teaching team, polite and engaged children, dedicated leadership and governance teams, research informed teaching practices and the opportunity to be part of an exciting project. The school offers a comprehensive induction programme and opportunities for CPD through links across the MAT.

Please apply via MyNew Term www.mynewterm.com. Informal queries should be directed to Laura White, PA to the Headteacher at lwhite@manordriveprimary.org.uk.

Closing date: 9am on 15 June 2026. We reserve the right to close the vacancy early should we receive a high number of applications. If you have previously applied for this role in the past 6 months, please do not reapply.

The Four Cs MAT is committed to safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments involve regulated activity and are subject to an Enhanced DBS disclosure and two successful references. Online searches are carried out on all shortlisted candidates.
