We invest our profits back into the training of our instructors, and into the equipment and facilities at each of our six centres.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the catering team, including training, mentoring, and performance management
- Plan and oversee the preparation and delivery of meals for large groups
- Develop menus that meet dietary, allergen, and nutritional requirements
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness (compliance with food safety legislation)
- Manage stock, inventory, and food ordering to ensure cost-effective operations
- Monitor budgets and contribute to cost control strategies
- Work closely with Centre Management to plan meals around activity schedules and guest requirements
- Handle special dietary requests and ensure all guests have a safe and enjoyable dining experience
Qualifications
- Experienced in managing kitchen teams in a high-volume setting
- Passionate about food, nutrition, and providing excellent catering experiences
- Organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure
- Confident in budgeting, stock control, and food cost management
- A strong communicator and team leader, fostering a positive work environment
- Proven experience in catering management (schools, residential centres, or similar environments preferred)
- Formal catering qualifications advantageous but not essential
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (Level 3 desirable)
- Experience managing large group catering and dietary/allergen requirements
