Teachers’ Main Scale M1 M6 + 1SEN. Full Time/Permanent. The teaching week is 32.5 hours, comprising 30 hours of teaching and at least 2.5 hours of PPA time. Ex‑CTs have 4.5 hours PPA time.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Maths and Science across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Deliver engaging and personalised learning programmes tailored to individual needs.
  • Support pupils with Autism, SEMH needs and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Contribute to the delivery of PSD and Skills Builder programmes.
  • Promote communication, independence, emotional regulation and preparation for adulthood.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, families and external professionals.
  • Play an active role in the ongoing development of the curriculum and wider school improvement.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
