We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain expertise to join our Data Management & Analytics practice. In this role, you will partner with leading Insurance and Reinsurance clients to drive impactful data transformation initiatives, enabling better data quality, governance, and reporting outcomes. This is a business-facing position, ideal for someone who has worked across core insurance data and processes and enjoys working closely with cross‑functional business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, business process mapping and documentation
- Translate business needs into functional and data requirements
- Conduct gap and impact analysis across Policy, Claims, Premiums & Reinsurance
- Define business rules and standards for data quality and governance
- Support data migration, transformation, and reporting initiatives
- Manage stakeholder communications and facilitate UAT activities
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance sector
- Strong understanding of insurance domain processes & data (Policy, Claims, Reinsurance, London Market)
- Experience working on data management, data quality, or data transformation programmes
- Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with data platforms or governance tools (Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Alation, Collibra)
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting
Ideal Background
Candidates with consulting, advisory, or technology experience supporting large-scale analytics or data programmes within Insurance, Reinsurance, or London Market environments will be particularly suited.
Location: London (Hybrid – typically 2–3 days onsite)
Right to Work: Must have full UK working rights (no sponsorship available)
Banding: C Band | Salary up to £90k + 12% bonus
