We are seeking an experienced QA/ Validation Engineer with strong handsâon expertise in manual and automation testing, REST API validation, JSON schema validation, and Pythonâbased simulation. The role focuses on validating endâtoâend workflows across credit cards, loans, and lending platforms, ensuring accuracy of decisioning logic, API behaviour, data flows, and integrations. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, effective collaboration as a team player, and the ability to work independently with full ownership and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated testing of REST APIs, decisioning components, and integration workflows.
- Conduct JSON schema validation, payload structure checks, and API contract verification.
- Review and validate API documentation using Swagger / OpenAPI specifications.
- Develop Python scripts for simulation, automation, and data validation.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and use cases.
- Validate decision strategy outputs, API request/response mappings, and ODS data.
- Log and track defects in JIRA and prepare XRAY execution reports.
- Work closely with dev, BA, and strategy teams to ensure highâquality deliverables.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support performance/monitoring activities where required.
