We’re looking for an experienced Technical Engagement Manager to lead complex data management and analytics engagements while acting as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.
About the Role
As a Technical Engagement Manager, you will own the end-to-end delivery of enterprise data engagements—from initiation through completion. You’ll balance client leadership, delivery excellence, and commercial responsibility, working closely with account leaders, architects, and delivery teams. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, delivery, and client strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver BI, data management, and analytics engagements end to end
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client executives
- Identify opportunities for account growth and engagement expansion
- Own account planning, project governance, risk management, and delivery quality
- Manage budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and financial performance
- Drive change management, corrective actions, and delivery improvements
- Conduct regular business reviews and articulate measurable business value
- Lead and manage delivery teams of 5–20 people across multiple workstreams
- Collaborate with technical and architecture leads to ensure best-practice solutions
- Support hiring through technical and non-technical interviews
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years’ experience in Diversified Industries
- 10+ years delivering BI/DW and enterprise data management solutions
- Strong experience with data integration, SQL databases, and analytics platforms
- Background in project management and/or technical architecture
- Proven experience leading complex, multi-team technology implementations
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Governance
- Exposure to sales or pre-sales activities
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban
- Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
- Ability to act as a strategic advisor beyond pure delivery management
