Our client, a global and innovative social media company, is recruiting for a Junior Procurement Specialist to join their business in the UK.
Position Type: Fixed-term contract
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 1 year FTC
Location: London, UK
Responsibilities:
- Responsible procurement activities within the professional services category.
- Manage purchase requests of Professional Services Category, execute procurement, and maintain organized data records.
- Process purchase orders and ensure efficient handling of sourcing requirements.
- Support project bidding by assisting in documentation, report preparation, and bid coordination.
- Conduct market research and data analysis for outsourced services, staffing, and consulting industries to support informed procurement decisions.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor or above preferred.
- Strong analytical and independent thinking skills; collaborative team player with relevant procurement experience preferred.
- Proficient in Office software (particularly Excel), ERP, and OA systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Quick learner, honest, dependable, highly responsible, and positive with strong professional values.
- Work experience: 1 year or more relevant experience.
