Our client, a global and innovative social media company, is recruiting for a VR QA Engineer to join an exciting VR project based in the UK.

Position Type: 1 year FTE (with potential for extension)

Start Date: January 2026

Location: London, UK (Hybrid, 3 days per week in London office, 2 days remote)

Our client is a leading VR company with independent innovation and R&D capabilities, focusing on VR all‑in‑one technology. It is committed to offering immersive and interactive VR experiences to customers, including providing tailor‑made solutions for enterprise clients in the fields of education and healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional walk‑through testing for overseas pre‑release VR applications based on defined test cases.
  • Identify, document, and report defects, provide clear feedback to developers, and follow issues through to public release.
  • Suggest application improvements based on testing experience to enhance overall user experience.
  • Support internal stakeholders by reproducing user‑reported issues, coordinating with developers, and tracking resolutions.
  • Assist with specialised testing activities, ensuring defects are fully documented and followed up.
  • Collaborate with overseas development teams during joint debugging sessions to help quickly identify and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate clearly in professional work environments.
  • Additional language skills, particularly Mandarin Chinese, are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Electronics and Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in game or application testing (mobile, client, or other platforms).
  • Solid understanding of black box testing principles, test methodologies, and test case design.
  • Experience within the VR industry is a strong plus.
  • Detail‑oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure with a strong team mindset.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding internal discussions, systems, and information during the engagement.
