Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us scale our client base by qualifying, enriching, and reaching out to potential leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to develop outreach strategies and hit sales targets
- Conduct high-volume cold calling and outreach via email and to generate new business opportunities
- Research and identify potential leads, gathering accurate contact information and key decision-maker details
- Qualify leads for the Business Development team
- Track and manage all outreach activities using CRM tools
- Stay up to date with eCommerce trends and industry insights to improve prospecting techniques
Qualifications
- A passion for sales, relationship-building, and helping businesses grow
- 2-3 years of experience in an SDR, Business Development, or outbound sales role
- Solid understanding of eCommerce trends is a must—you understand the industry, key players, and common challenges – particularly around (i) Beauty, (ii) Fashion, (iii) Home/Living and (IV) FMCG verticals
- A self-starter with a proactive approach to lead generation and outreach
- Exceptional communication skills—confident, persuasive, and comfortable handling objections
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage outreach efforts effectively
- Experience using CRM and sales automation tools to track and optimize efforts
