Key responsibilities:
- Understand the interface and configuration architecture and requirements.
- Create Design Document for the PolicyCenter configuration and integration.
- Configure the application as per specification using Guidewire Gosu language.
- Perform code review, and shake down tests and deliver.
- Ability to collaborate with peers and project teams on complex projects and issues progress and provide status reports to management.
- Work in Agile environments
- Delivering and maintaining complex Guidewire PolicyCenter technical solutions.
- Designing and supporting implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Works independently to enhance and support the PolicyCenter product
Mandatory Skills:
- Overall experience of 8 – 12 years with 4 – 5 years of experience as PolicyCenter Developer on version 10 and above (cloud versions).
- Extensive experience as senior CC developer in client facing roles at onsite
- Strong GOSU, Java and Oracle/SQL background.
- Experience in Guidewire configuration and integration
- Strong independent developer
- In-depth experience with a Java IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
- Guidewire PolicyCenter Certifications.
- Experience working on Agile methodology
- Experience in Upgrade and Cloud implementation.
- Experience working on Java, DBMS, Cloud, Integrations (Web Services, Message Queues, Service Bus), DevOps, Web/Mobile developments using Angular/React etc.
