Overview

As Sales Manager Industrial UK you will own the key account portfolio for OE customers and distributors in industrial segments, with a focus on UK Defence. You will identify new prospect accounts and build a growing UK industrial business in collaboration with category teams. You will lead market strategies, drive growth with distributors, and coordinate cross-site activities to ensure customer satisfaction. This role offers strategic influence in a multinational, mission-driven filtration leader with a strong team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as main interface for UK customers across purchasing and engineering
  • Develop business aligned with group plans and contribute to planning and forecasts
  • Define and execute market/customer strategies with Category Managers
  • Drive UK Defence sales growth and expand through new partners
  • Coordinate cross-site communications on strategic activities and knowledge transfer
  • Handle product offerings from standard to customized developments and manage quotations
  • Lead and manage customer contract negotiations (LTAs, warranties)
  • Oversee customer performance metrics (delivery, quality, cost) and reporting
  • Utilize CRM tools (Sales Force) for opportunities, visits, and milestones
  • Support other departments to meet customer needs and ensure on-time delivery
  • Participate in events and fairs; collaborate with Sales team on exhibitions

Key requirements

  • >5 years of relevant industry experience (preferably Defense/Military or Marine)
  • Strong strategic and business acumen
  • Strong customer-centric approach with CRM proficiency
  • Knowledge of quality systems and standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, accountable with analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict management
  • Coordination skills for harmonizing European strategies
  • Leadership to coordinate a virtual, multicultural sales team
  • Intercultural sensitivity and fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages preferred
  • Willingness to travel frequently (UK and abroad)
