About the Role

Reporting into the Community Support Manager, the Rostering Team Leader is responsible for leading the rostering function to ensure the efficient coordination of in-home care services. You will oversee a team of Rostering Officers, ensuring services are scheduled effectively to meet client needs while optimising workforce utilisation and maintaining compliance within SCHADS Award requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and provide effective scheduling of services and requests
  • Respond promptly to roster changes and client service requests
  • Lead, supervise and support Rostering Officers in their day-to-day activities
  • Provide coaching, training and ongoing performance feedback
  • Coordinate coverage for short-notice vacancies to maintain continuity of care
  • Monitor data accuracy and generate reports to support rostering KPIs

About you

You thrive in a fast-paced environment, bring a strong customer focus, along with the ability to lead and support a team effectively. To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
  • Proven experience in client scheduling (aged care or community services preferred)
  • Knowledge of SCHADS Award (highly desirable)
  • Experience with AlayaCare or similar systems (desirable)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
