  • Working Hours: Full Time, 35 Hours per week. 8:30am until 4:00pm, Monday to Friday with half hour unpaid lunch
  • Number of positions: 1
  • Qualifications Required: NVQ Level 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
  • Start Date: 1st September 2026
  • Salary: Grade 4, Pts 7-11 (£26,403 to £28,142 FTE). To be pro-rata'd for term time only working

Responsibilities

  • Primary Purpose: To bridge the gap between clinical SLT advice and daily classroom practice.
  • Specialist Delivery: Implement daily high-intensity speech, language, and communication interventions. Ensuring best practice occurs in classrooms daily.
  • Assessment: Conduct screenings and use quantitative and quality data to identify pupils requiring additional support.
  • Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the Speech and Language Therapists, translating their reports into classroom strategies.
