Mawsley Machinery is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hands-on Yard Person / Driver to join our team at the Mawsley site. In this crucial yard-based and field-supported role, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency, organization, and safety of our site, while ensuring our machinery is immaculately presented and ready for our customers. You will play a vital part in our logistics by managing the safe loading, unloading, and administrative tracking of all incoming and outgoing machine deliveries, alongside supporting our service engineers and executing general maintenance duties.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Yard maintenance
- Keeping the site clean and tidy
- Loading and unloading machines from lorries and trailers
- Completing all administration for all inboard and outboard machine deliveries to a high standard
- Cleaning used, service and new machines
- Painting machinery
- General building maintenance
- Supporting and helping the service engineers
- Re-fueling and de-fueling machines
- Reporting of hazards and any near miss accident information
- Adhere to the company's health and safety policies
- Delivering and collecting parts
- Ensuring new machines are displayed on site
- Any other duties that may be reasonably requested by your line Manager
