We're currently working with a well-established, growing Freight Forwarding business based in Birmingham, who are looking to bring in an experienced Ocean Freight Pricing Specialist to join their Trade Commercial team. This role focuses on ocean freight pricing, managing customer quotations, negotiating rates and supporting import, export and cross-trade business.

The role will involve:

  • Managing ocean freight quotations across import, export and cross-trade shipments
  • Negotiating rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers

  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure a smooth handover of secured business
