Job Responsibilities and tasks:

  • Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.
  • Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.
  • Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.
  • Completing customs entries.
  • Raising export documentation and manifests.
  • Checking with warehouses that screening and check weighing have been completed.
  • Finalising all documentation.
  • Checking vessels/flights have been met.
  • Invoicing, liaising with and sending pre alerts to overseas agents.
  • Following up after delivery to ensure the customer was happy and find out anything else that we could look after for them.

Due to our ever-changing industry the above job responsibilities are not exhaustive and may change.

Role Requirements:

  • Two years’ experience minimum in export operations, on both airfreight and seafreight.
  • Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements, and raising Certificates of origin if required.
  • Experience in completing customs declarations.
  • Experience of CNS and Destin8.
  • Our forwarding software is Multi-freight.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and friendly personality.
  • Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Strong and dynamic team player.
