We’re looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our new team based at our flagship store on Oxford Street, London. Reporting to the Head of Retail, you’ll be an ambassador of the Brand with a strong awareness and adaptability to the luxury retail environment. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of visual standards ensuring consistency, quality, and sophistication within the store. You’ll support the store managers with the VM business strategy including the development of visual guidelines and ensuring compliance with these guidelines for the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all VM standards are well maintained and remain in line with guidelines and store needs.
- Help design world-class window displays whilst ensuring appropriate product rotation, by having a constant dialog with the Head of Retail and Store Managers.
- Work with the Buying teams to create key looks ensuring all key stakeholders’ opinions are considered.
- Produce and manage digital visual merchandising packs ensuring appropriate product selection and display.
- Analyse trends focused on size, colour, silhouette with the Allocators to manage product flow.
- Understand store operations and how best to contribute to the overall functioning of the store including contributing towards daily trade recaps, capturing key product updates.
- Deliver VM training to ensure all team members understand display/window requirements and standards.
- Maintain strong knowledge of competitors' campaigns and trends, communicating this with key stakeholders.
- Lead and execute VM projects optimising budgets.
- Proactively plan for upcoming product releases ensuring great in-store representation.
- Complete sale floor “money maps” to review performance of products taking relative action.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure in-store digital touch points are in line with the drops and social media pushes.
Requirements
- 2 years’ experience in visual merchandising specifically mannequin dressing at store or regional level with proven track record in delivering world class visual merchandising.
- Creative flair with a keen eye for aesthetic detail; interests in art and design a plus.
- Excellent personal presentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong work ethic and personal drive.
- Problem solving nature with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- General understanding of different cultures to effectively drive the visual merchandising agenda across the international marketing calendar.
