Manicomio Chelsea Restaurant, located in Sloane Square, is the flagship and first opening of the renowned Manicomio Group of fine Italian restaurants, offering a high standard dining experience with an exceptional outside space.
The Role:
- You will be the Floor Manager working to exceed expectations, train and inspire your colleagues with your knowledge, skills and passion for great customer service.
- Working closely with the GM, you will:
- Take responsibility for the day-to-day setting up of the room leading the service.
- Assist the General Manager with rotas and training.
- Be responsible for stock control and cost control.
- Have a hands-on approach to the role and work closely with your floor and management team, leading by example and delivering an exceptional standard of service.
- During summer, this is a high volume operation.
The ideal Floor Manager will:
- Have significant previous fine restaurant experience.
- Be confident in leading a team of 10 to 20 people including floor and bar staff.
- Have an excellent knowledge of standard of service.
- Deliver excellent service skills, have an eye for detail and the ability to innovate.
- Be confident, capable and creative, with passion and commitment to delivering consistently excellent service.
- Have the necessary energy, passion and enthusiasm to deliver, and train others, in providing first-class customer service.
- Be financially aware in terms of staff costing and profitability, GPs and more.
- Have some wine knowledge - WSET certification is an advantage.
- Be well presented with a strong command of written and spoken English.
- Have the necessary paperwork enabling residency and full-time work in the UK.
- Be flexible as you will work on a rota, 5 days out of 7 days.
Job Type: Full Time 40-48h per week.
