As a lifelong fan of their hard hitting, diverse brand portfolio I am proud to be working with Mangrove in the search for a Business Development Manager to help grow their portfolio presence across the fast paced, London On-trade. If you’re looking for a role that blends commercial drive with brand storytelling, where you can build relationships across London’s most exciting venues and bring world-class spirits to life in the on-trade, this could be your next move.

Performance-based bonus
Travel expenses covered
Regular trips to brand homes

Why this role? Mangrove isn’t just another distributor. They are a leading UK spirits distributor, bringing together great people and great brands from around the world — all with quality and innovation at their core. Working across both the on- and off-trade, they collaborate with venues to build dynamic, long-term partnerships that help create unforgettable experiences for customers and guests.

With a huge year ahead, this is a brilliant opportunity for a driven, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to expand Mangrove’s footprint across London — from five-star hotels to neon-lit dive bars. This is about growth, visibility, and activation. It’s about getting the right brands in the right venues and making sure they don’t just sit on the back bar — they sell.

The Role... As Business Development Manager for London, your mission is simple: grow and activate the Mangrove portfolio across the capital. Connect with as many on-trade venues as possible, introducing them to the Mangrove range and securing new listings, bringing brands to life through creative activations. This is a role that will require you to negotiate strong commercial agreements that maximise brand visibility and deliver return on investment. Delivering engaging training and education sessions, ensuring venue teams understand the stories behind the spirits they’re pouring.

It’s a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days look the same. One day you could be pitching to a luxury hotel group, the next collaborating with an independent bar owner on their next big event.

The Company... Mangrove represents a portfolio of globally recognised, premium spirits brands. They pride themselves on combining innovation with authenticity, and on building genuine partnerships within the trade. The culture is ambitious, collaborative and supportive. It’s a business where you truly get back what you put in — where drive, ownership and energy are recognised and rewarded. Those who perform have real opportunity to grow quickly and shape their future within the company.

This role would suit someone with on-trade sales experience, ideally within spirits or the wider drinks industry, who thrives on autonomy and is hungry to win. We are looking for drive and resilience, a love of spirits and a desire to deepen your industry knowledge.

If you’re motivated by building relationships, hitting targets, and seeing your brands on the back bar of London’s best venues, this is well worth exploring.
