We are looking for security officers with SIA certification for our site in Tamworth B79. The role is on a rota basis, 4 on 4 off, with morning or night shifts of 12 hours.
The Security Officer involves trained personnel (guards) conducting regular, often random, checks of a property on foot, detecting threats, responding to alarms/emergencies, and ensuring overall safety, acting as a visible deterrent and rapid response to incidents.
Key Functions:- Deterrence: Highly visible guards and marked vehicles discourage criminals.
- Detection: Officers identify suspicious behaviour, breaches, or hazards.
- Rapid Response: Quick reaction to alarms or incidents, often as named keyholders.
- Observation & Reporting: Documenting patrols, observations, and incidents.
