Job Description

Role : Kitchen Assistant

Hours – 40 hours across 4 days 0745 – 1745hrs.

My client is an outdoor nursery providing only the best in food and education for the children. They are currently seeking a kitchen assistant.

You should drive as the site is not accessible by public transport

Main duties

• Part of the role is physical as we pull a trolley to bring the food to and from Nursery Camp
• You will be able to prepare pre-cooked vegetarian meals and serve them in our camps
• You will be able to follow Food Safety & Hygiene procedures (training provided)
• You will be able to complete food temperatures checks
• You will be confident in organising allergy meals
• You will be be able to complete kitchen cleaning and general cleaning across the nursery
• You will be able to unpack and store deliveries
