Hours: Monday to Friday 08am - 17hrs

Our client is an installation and collection of whole house home staging furniture, art and accessories company who are seeking a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to work from the warehouse. Candidates will be travelling in company vans to the central London and home counties properties of the Clients.

The job includes general warehouse work which is shared between all team members and will include but not limited to:

  • Tidying, cleaning vans, taking care of the correct storage of furniture items, wrapping, packing, stacking, lifting, moving, loading, checking tool bags, storing packing materials, ensuring the overall cleanliness and order of our 16,000 sq ft warehouses.

Although the job will be warehouse based because you will start at our TW1 facility at 8.00am each day, you will on most days be leaving from here with your team to either a job installation or collection which will entail going in a van to an outside address with other colleagues and Team Leader in charge.

You will be taught how to:

  • Help maintain the proper care of all stock, managing stock control.
  • Load a van so that all items for furniture are protected. Keep the van tidy and clean by helping load and unload all installations and collections with the associated packing materials.
  • Install full house home staging under supervision, and collection of the same.
  • Check your tool box is clean and well stocked, take accountability for the tools provided and ensuring their safe return at the end of each day.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining the warehouse as part of the daily routine.
  • Assist with the cleaning and maintaining the company vehicles on a weekly basis.
