Counterbalance Forklift Driver required for a Pallet company based in Horndon.
Full time - permanent - 40 hours per week Monday-Friday - 0800 til 1700.
Daily Duties:
- Daily unloading inbound stock (either curtain siders and sea containers).
- Storing stock into correct locations managing periods of space shortages in our yard and warehouse with initiative, calm, and common-sense.
- Order picking for daily orders, preparing stacks of product for despatch (pallet wrap and/or banding, labelling etc.).
- Loading external hauliers and daily pallet network vehicles with the day’s orders.
- Regular stock-taking.
- Reporting of damages/issues to the office staff.
- Providing banksman guidance to visiting HGV drivers.
- Occasional jet-washing of old stock for orders.
